How to Request Data Deletion
To request that we delete your ContentChief account and all associated personal data, follow these steps:

Send an email to with the subject line: Data Deletion Request

Include the email address associated with your ContentChief account so we can locate your data.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion we permanently remove:
Your account information including name, email address, and password hash. All Brand DNA data, content pillars, and brand settings. All captions, scripts, and content you created inside the platform. Your content calendar, scheduled posts, and reflections. All platform connection tokens. All usage and activity data associated with your account.
Data Connected via Platform Integrations
ContentChief allows you to connect your social media accounts to enable direct publishing on your behalf. When you connect a platform, we store only the access token required to authenticate and publish content. We do not store your profile data, contact lists, followers, messages, or any other account information beyond what is strictly required for publishing.
This applies to all supported platforms:

LinkedIn — We store your LinkedIn access token and member ID to publish posts to your profile. We do not store your connections, messages, or profile details beyond account identification.

Facebook — We store your page access token and page ID to publish to your Facebook Page. We do not store your personal profile data, friend lists, or any other Facebook account information.

Instagram — We store your Instagram Business account ID and access token to publish content. We do not store your followers, direct messages, or personal account data.

TikTok — We store your TikTok access token and open ID to publish video content to your account. We do not store your followers, messages, or any TikTok account data beyond what is required to authenticate and post.

YouTube — We store your YouTube OAuth token to publish video descriptions and content. We do not store your subscribers, watch history, or any YouTube account data beyond publishing access.

X (Twitter) — We store your X access token to publish posts on your behalf. We do not store your followers, direct messages, or any X account data beyond what is required to post.
pod
Podcast — We store your RSS feed URL to generate and distribute episode descriptions. We do not store listener data or any podcast platform account credentials.

Email — We store your email list connection token to distribute newsletter content. We do not store your subscriber list or any recipient personal data inside ContentChief.
To remove any platform connection without deleting your full ContentChief account, go to Platform Connections inside the app and disconnect at any time. Disconnecting immediately revokes our ability to publish to that platform on your behalf.
